Mace Tot Lot, Chelsea, MA

This small linear park on a standard size residential scale lot focused on providing universal access and a variety of play activities. CBA provided the previous design for the park in 2004, and was able to protect mature trees and the site’s entry arch in this renovation (completed in 2022). Inclusive play equipment, outdoor musical instruments, site lighting, and seating areas provide a charming space for the neighborhood and an amenity for the preschools and daycares that use the space daily.
