CBA has had a fantastic time with the placemaking process for the 289 Derby Street Park project in Salem, MA! CBA has been busy collaborating with the Salem Public Space Project and Creative Salem to bring this great design together. This Wednesday is the final event "Party at 289 Derby", from 5-8 at the 289 Derby Street site. This event will be the reveal of the final design for the space, as well as several fun community pop-ups and activities. See the link below:

Landscape Architect and Specifier News has featured Cremin Playground in Somerville in the April 2017 Lighting issue. CBA designed the renovation of this playground, which incorporates unique lighting to highlight the imaginative play structures, the playfully curved seatwalls, and murals painted on existing bridge supports, commissioned by a local mural artist. The construction of this park was finished in 2016.

The Boston Parks Department has announced Mayor Marty Walsh's 2017 Neighborhood Coffee Hour series schedule. During these events, the Mayor meets with residents at local parks to talk about open space and other needs in the neighborhood. The events double as park openings for newly-renovated parks such as Monsignor Reynolds Playground in the South End (July 18th), which was designed by CBA. Other CBA-designed parks on the schedule include Almont Park in Mattapan and Paris Street Playground in East Boston.
